The Carousel's padded shower seat, back, and armrests provide ultimate comfort and skin tear prevention. Unlike old-style bath chairs with cold, slippery, and hard plastic parts, the Carousel features warm-to-the-touch, comfortable, slip-resistant padding on all main components. The medical-grade, closed-cell molded polyurethane padding will not absorb water and is easy to clean and disinfect.

The swivel-seat design of the Carousel is both safer and more convenient than a standard fixed seat. This space-saving design means the chair protrudes into the room much less than a traditional transfer bench, making it more convenient for both the user and others who do not require the use of the chair, as it leaves more free space in the bathroom.

The robust, weight-bearing armrests on the Carousel provide added safety and convenience. Unlike standard chairs with no armrests, the Carousel's armrests can be used as leverage points to help the user get into and out of the chair.
